Making memories and building connections at EAG

Q&A with Cordell Robinson, Celebrity Chef & EAG Customer

When was your first Exclusive Automotive Group (EAG) event and how many have you attended since?

My First EAG event was the Bentley event at L’Auberge Chez Francois a few years ago. I have attended 3 or 4 since.

How would you describe EAG events to someone who has not attended one before?

The EAG events are fun, chill, and non-pretentious. Everyone is so inviting and makes you feel like family. They are great people to meet, and you get to be around true authentic car enthusiasts.

What was your favorite EAG event?

I don’t really have a favorite EAG event as they are each different, so it is hard to compare them but I will say the most fun are the track days and the fabulous Aston Martin private dinners.

Have you attended events for other dealerships, and if so, how does EAG’s events compare?

Yes, I attended a Maserati event which was nice but it was not as personable as EAG. The Maserati event to me did not seem like it was well organized or at the level of EAG events.

What has surprised you the most about EAG events?

I was not surprised by EAG events. After experiencing my first purchase from EAG, I knew the events would be like that experience; fun, a great opportunity to meet cool people from different areas, and a lot of entrepreneurs like myself that appreciate super cars and true luxury vehicles.

How do you think EAG’s move to Ashburn will impact its events?

I think the move will elevate events. The new space is amazing, and has the size to host events that will be beyond. With the opulence and detail put into the new space, paired with the food I will curate for events, it’s a win-win.

“The EAG events are fun, chill, and non-pretentious. Everyone is so inviting and makes you feel like family.”

What keeps you coming back?

What keeps me coming back is that when I am interested in a vehicle that I like, the sale is not forced upon me but I am given enough information when I ask questions about the vehicle. Also, when I went to see the new factory in Whales (when the DBX was unveiled), I met up with Alvin and Jon and they were so awesome. I got to see Aston behind the scenes and have candid conversations with them about that vehicle. Getting the invitation alone to attend by EAG was fabulous. I was able to take in so much about the brand, and more importantly, the relationship they have with Aston Martin. When I purchased my first Bentley, the experience was great as well. Though a very different brand than Aston, getting it from EAG was seamless.

Do they provide value to you professionally, and if so, how?

Yes, EAG provides great value to me professionally. I wear many hats in life due to my ambitions. I am a celebrity chef, menu curator to Four Seasons and Andaz to name a couple luxury hotel brands, and proclaimed culinary architect. I attended an EAG event which was fabulous but I knew the food could be elevated to the true standards of EAG. So, I spoke with Regina and she got me in contact with the right person so that I could cater for EAG events. Recently, I did the Valhalla event in which my food received rave reviews. I also have a foundation called Shaping Futures Foundation in which I am in the works of building an all-girls boarding school in Zanzibar. I will be partnering with EAG to have some fun and exciting fundraiser events. I have been fortunate to partner with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Georgia Armani, and now EAG.

EAG has hired you and your business multiple times in the past. What events have you catered and how did you make them align with EAG’s brand?

I have ensured my catering has aligned with the EAG brand by providing food that is elevated but not pretentious. My food is unique and delicious just like EAG. It opens up the mind and palate.
